Those Clerics Can’t be Stopped

Auroralee and Wondergirl     It seems like the Clerics are on a roll, we’ve had three epics finished in one week. Congratulations to Auroralee, Seeyoo, and Wondergirl. Seeyoo has obtained the Water Sprinkler of Nem Ankh, the 1.0, and Auroralee and Wondergirl have obtained the Harmony of the Soul, the 1.5.
Auroralee’s adventure was started five years ago, or one-hundred and twenty Norrathian years, under the guide of her mentor, Auedyin. She had a great amount of assistance, including that sexy warrior, Et, the beautiful Barbarian, Gildoorfa, the mute druid, Etsport, the Casanova enchanter Sucubae, the Incredible Honorbound, Goldynn the Feisty, and Angenia’s former cousin.  One of these adventures required her to go to Akheva, a rather disturbing area filled with aliens. Four-armed vampires fell victim to her mighty hammer as she and a friend fought endlessly in the center of a room. The piece in Akheva took 4 spawns of the vampires to drop the Akhevan Brain Stem. The final fight to this epic was horrible. A giant necromancer decided that High Elf was the night’s menu, fortunately, Batman was there to help her. The fight went on until all the necro’s minions and the necro himself were demolished. A little while after, Auroralee, who was very accomplished in smithing, forged her own shield, “Harmony of the Soul.”

Wondergirl, a lovely cleric with red hair, finished her quest for the elegant “Harmony of the Soul” soon after Auroralee. The assistants included the A-Team and a team of trained hamsters (plus Sordarr). Wondergirl and her friends braved every danger this epic quest held for them. These dangers varied from the Wakening Lands to Lesser Faydark. In Lesser Faydark, Wondergirl and her friends took on a full camp of Wayfarers, cleaning it of everything that came to challenge them. Taskmaster Mirot and some skeletons attacked after they had finished off the Wayfarers. Afterwards, Wondergirl gave her Brain parts to a man and her friends proceeded to help her with the giant, hungry necromancer and his minions. A couple days later, and after a trip to Dranik, she started working tirelessly at a forge, keeping Sir Robin from bugging her the whole time. “Harmony of the Soul” was made in that forge, scaring away the Jester of Bristlebane.
Dark Disciple Master
The final adventure of these three, Seeyoo’s, is a different kind of animal. It included dragon-slaying, a whole raid to Chardok, and trips to Lake Rathetear. Angenia’s former cousin helped with this one. Quick trips were made all around Norrath for this. A 63 second fight with a dragon turned out to be 23 seconds, and Chardok was just some light work.

Seeyoo

Somebody needs to make these cleric epics harder :P

Congratulations, Auroralee, Seeyoo, and Wondergirl!

Sanding Wood Elves, now 34% smoother…

Amirini's Epic 1.0 with family`

Amirini, an Iksar Necro, finished her Epic 1.0, the Scythe of the Shadowed Soul on February 21st, 2009.  The helpers in this epic are: Etetete, Gildoorfa, Dweeble, Honorbound, Dicanar, Sucubae, Goldynn, Auroralee and Rosettae. All of them have died at least once, except Dweeble and Goldynn. Something about monks. The places these brave men and women have conquered are: Lake Rathetear, Plain of Sky, Fear, Hate, Chardok, and Najena. We have wiped out Fear and Chardok.  The major annoyances in this epic are Mr. Bristlebane’s Jester, and Brave Sir Robin. At the end of this Epic, Amirini came to a man that she had taken this tiresome quest from, receiving her Epic 1.0.

Happy 2009!

To start the New Year off right, we had a terrific bash in the newly remodeled Grand Arena of Norrath.  It was a wonderful night of merriment, food, gifts and of course beating on one another.  We had our own best of the best contests of sorts.  The contests ranged from one on one dueling, to races.  The one on one duels always seemed dominated by Et, but this just reminded us why we always toss him in front of the really mean creatures first.  After one on one, we tried tag teams, the werewolves against the others.  I think, Et had it bad this time because he ended up with all of us level 40’s on his team against the rest of the guild.  He did a great job, but in the end he was lost to them.

The races came next.  Races of mounts and races of feet and even of squatting and running like a duck.  Gildoorfa looked great as she beat everyone at the duck walk… I can’t say I’ve ever seen anyone move as fast as she can.  I think she would have out run me while I have spirit of the wolf.

New Year 2009

Of course, I only touched on some of the highlights of the evening, and there was certainly more, but my poor elf memory is failing.

Happy 5th Birthday Aurora Spirits and may there be many more in the future.
